With the Z-8S MK2 PR, LOWA offers a comfortable women's shoe that impresses with its functionality and robustness. It is perfectly suited for use in dry regions with demanding terrain and marches with medium-heavy rucksacks.
This quality is underlined by the durable PU material, which provides excellent cushioning and stability thanks to its varying degrees of hardness. The heat- and cold-insulating midsole also features integrated textile puncture protection to guard against sharp objects. The outsole is made of a mission optimized rubber compound with a special tread pattern that provides better slip resistance on ladders in the midfoot area.
In addition to slip resistance, the LOWA® TACTICAL 2 ESD sole also has oil and fuel-resistant properties and is resistant to contact heat. The mid-height shaft made of durable suede leather provides good support and stability. The Z-8S MK2 GTX PR is also ESD compliant.

A fabric or synthetic lining makes footwear lightweight and breathable. Good abrasion resistance speaks for itself and ensures durability. In addition, it offers outstanding temperature management.
The sole meets the highest anti-slip standards. Slip protection depends primarily on the design and rubber compound of the outsole. The shoe provides optimal slip protection on slick, wet and oily surfaces, as well as good grip on terrain.
The shoe is equipped with lacing hooks with a closed design. The laces are guided securely and cannot slip out of their hooks. Closed lace hooks minimise the risk of the shoe getting caught on objects.
Comfort and cushioning is further improved for specific uses with a complex injection-molding process using a layering process.
Conceived and developed by LOWA, this rubber outsole varies in its rubber blend having a tread design with varying lugs, both factors based on intended use. Ideal for off-trail use.
A sturdy wrap sole construction extending onto the upper ensures good stability.
