Warranty Service - Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

The LOWA warranty covers any manufacturing defects for one year from the date of purchase. 

  • Ordinary wear and tear. 
  • Damage resulting from the weather or natural deterioration over time (Hydrolysis - Boot Sole Separation). 
  • Abuse, incorrect assembly or installation, negligence, improper repairs. Inadequate fit or comfort issues. 
  • Products past the normal one-year warranty period. 
  • Alterations, modifications or if the product was used other than in the manner intended. 
  • The use of oils or fats on LOWA boots will null and void the warranty. 
  • If the product was purchased from a third-part seller that is not one of our authorized LOWA dealers.
  • Damage resulting from exposure to a heat source, such as a campfire, radiators, trunk of a car, etc. 
  • Extreme temperatures will affect the shoe’s materials and shrink the toe box. 

Once we receive your request, our team will complete a full assessment within 2–3 business days based on the information you provide and will offer options tailored to your submission.

To help us process your request as quickly as possible, please ensure the Warranty Request is filled out thoroughly and accurately.

If the product was purchased directly from www.lowa.ca, we will gladly cover the shipping costs. However, if the purchase was made through another retailer, the customer will be responsible for the shipping fees to return the product to us.

On average, it takes our Warranty & Repairs team about 2-3 business days to assess your claim. Once the claim has been assessed, it can take us up to 2-3 to weeks to repair and send back your footwear.
