The women’s version of the desert specialist: The LOWA Elite Desert Ws TF was specially developed to handle the tough terrain and conditions of desert regions. The mid-cut model was designed for use by NATO forces. In the years since it was created, the boot has been worn on missions conducted by a large number of armies and special-forces units.
The lightweight boot applies its optimized rubber mix and the profile of the outsole to provide maximum slip protection. The heat- and cold-insulating sole complex of the certified model is also resistant to oil, petrol and contact heat. In combination with the boot’s durable fabric lining, the suede leather upper delivers a high level of breathability. This ensures that the boots are pleasant to wear even in areas with extreme climates.
Made of tough suede leather and equipped with a two-zone lacing system, the antistatic and resoleable LOWA Elite Desert Ws TF is a pleasure to wear throughout its long service life.

A fabric or synthetic lining makes footwear lightweight and breathable. Good abrasion resistance speaks for itself and ensures durability. In addition, it offers outstanding temperature management.
These outstanding soles and rubber blends offer impressive traction on various surfaces and, at the same time, optimal abrasion resistance. Vibram® has always stood for premium, slip-resistant, long-lasting soles and has for years been the market leader in this segment.
The sole meets the highest anti-slip standards. Slip protection depends primarily on the design and rubber compound of the outsole. The shoe provides optimal slip protection on slick, wet and oily surfaces, as well as good grip on terrain.
The shoe is equipped with lacing hooks with a closed design. The laces are guided securely and cannot slip out of their hooks. Closed lace hooks minimise the risk of the shoe getting caught on objects.
Independently adjustable lacing zones, one on the forefoot and one on the upper, allow user to customize the lacing tension and do special foot-hold lacing techniques.
LOWA boots sold in the MOUNTAINEERING and TREKKING categories are designed in a way during the development phase that they can be resoled. This process will extend their service life and make a strong contribution to sustainability.
